Choose Your Import Type: (2 Options)

Choose your import method to import your Trakt data to SIMKL.

With automatic importing, you can use any Trakt app to mark shows as watched, add to watchlist, or rate them, and they'll automatically appear in your SIMKL account.


Option 1: Import from Trakt Once

Perform a one-time import to bring your entire Trakt data into SIMKL. This option won’t update automatically later.

When selecting this option, SIMKL gives you four import modes to handle existing data.

Option 2: Set Up Auto Import

With Auto Import, SIMKL can automatically fetch your Trakt activity, ratings, and watchlist updates on a schedule you choose.

What It Does

  • Syncs your latest Trakt activity into SIMKL automatically.

  • Works with any Trakt-compatible app (Infuse, Plex, Kodi, Stremio, etc.).

  • Runs silently in the background based on your selected frequency.

  • Add Missed Watches — imports any new Trakt items not yet in SIMKL (safe option).

  • Replace All Data — fully overwrite SIMKL data with your current Trakt data.
