# Bulk Delete Watched Episodes or Seasons
Whether you’ve imported outdated history from another platform, logged incorrect episodes by mistake, or simply want to **start fresh**, SIMKL’s “Delete Watched Episodes” option gives you **full control** to remove any or all progress made on a TV show or anime.
## Where You’ll See This Option
This feature appears in the **Bulk Episode Editor**, but **only** when the title is already in your watchlist **and** has at least one episode marked as watched.
You’ll find it under:
> **Manage Watch History** ➝\
> **What would you like to do?** ➝\
> `Delete Watched Episodes`
**Available When:**
* The show or anime is already **in your Watchlist**
* You have **at least one episode** marked as watched
* You're accessing a **TV Show or Anime**, not a Movie
**Not Available If:**
* You haven’t marked any episodes as watched yet
* The title is not in your Watchlist
* You’re on a Movie title (this feature is episode-based only)

## What You Can Delete
This feature isn’t just a one-click nuke. SIMKL gives you **granular control** over what to remove:
**Option 1: Delete by Entire Seasons (Under TV Shows)**
* Quickly **reset full seasons** you previously marked as watched
* Ideal if you completed a whole season by mistake or want a fresh rewatch
* Simply check the boxes for the seasons you want to clear
**Option 2: Delete by Specific Episodes (Under Anime)**
* Get precise: only remove individual episodes while keeping others intact
* Deselect any episodes you want to **keep** (like specials or OVAs)
* Useful for undoing accidental progress on a few select entries
You can also combine the two, remove full seasons and tweak episode-level deletions in the same action.
#### How It Works — Step-by-Step Guide
1. **Go to the TV Show or Anime page**
* Make sure it’s already added to your watchlist
2. **Click “Manage Watch History”**
* Found under the Watch Progress panel
3. **Choose “Delete Watched Episodes”**
* This option will appear only if the above conditions are met
4. **Select the Seasons or Episodes you want to remove**
* Use checkboxes for seasons or the detailed episode selector
5. **Review Deletions**
* Double-check what you’re about to delete to avoid data loss
6. **Click “Execute Action”**
* This will remove your watch history **only for the selected episodes**

## What Happens After Deletion
* The **episodes you remove** will be considered **unwatched** by SIMKL
* Your watch progress % will drop accordingly
* The show may move back to “Watching” or “Plan to Watch” if no episodes remain
* Any stats linked to “Time Spent Watching,” “First Watched,” or “Last Watched” will adjust automatically
* If you delete **all watched episodes**, it’s essentially like removing the title from your viewing history — though it remains in your watchlist unless removed manually

**Important Notes & Limitation**
* ❌ Deletion is **permanent** — there’s no undo once changes are confirmed
* 🔒 This feature is available **only for episodic content** (TV Shows, Anime)
* 💬 Specials/OVAs must also be deleted manually if included
* 🔍 Deleted episodes do not appear in your "Hidden" logs — they’re fully wiped from SIMKL history
