Managing multiple streaming service subscriptions can be overwhelming. With different platforms offering various pricing plans, renewal dates, and billing frequencies, it’s easy to lose track of your total spending. SIMKL’s Subscription Tracking feature allows users to monitor their active subscriptions in one place, track costs, and stay informed about upcoming renewal dates.
With Subscription Tracking, you can:
To use this feature:
Open the SIMKL Streaming Services Settings.
Click on the “My Subscriptions” tab.
You’ll see a list of all your subscriptions along with their renewal dates, costs, and billing frequencies.
Click the “+ Add New Subscription” button.
Enter the following details:
Streaming Platform: Enter the name of the subscription service (e.g., Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, Game Pass, etc.).
Cost: Input the amount you pay for the service.
Currency: Select the preferred currency (USD, EUR, INR, GBP, etc.).
Billing Frequency: Choose whether the subscription is monthly, yearly, or another frequency.
Status: Mark the subscription as Active or Inactive.
Next Renewal Date: Set the upcoming renewal date.
Notes: Add details like plan type, shared account users, or any extra information.
Click “Save” to finalize the entry.
To edit an existing subscription:
Click the Edit (✏️) button.
Update any details and click Save.
To delete a subscription:
Click the Trash (🗑️) button and confirm.
At the top of the My Subscriptions tab, you will see:
Total Monthly Cost – Displays the sum of all active subscriptions billed monthly.
Total Yearly Cost – Shows the total cost of all active subscriptions billed yearly.
This summary helps users track expenses and avoid unnecessary charges.
If you pay for services in different currencies, SIMKL allows you to convert and display all costs in a single currency:
Click the currency dropdown on the left.
Choose from multiple currencies, including USD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), INR (₹), AUD (A$), etc.
All prices will be displayed in the selected currency.
If you subscribe to multiple services, tracking renewal dates, billing cycles, and overall costs can be difficult. This feature provides a single dashboard to monitor all your streaming expenses and avoid surprise charges.
Yes! You can add music, gaming, software, or any other subscription-based service.
Yes! You can note down if you’re sharing a plan and split costs in the Notes section.
Click Edit (✏️) on the subscription and update the cost.
All costs will be converted to your selected display currency for easy tracking.
