With different platforms offering various pricing plans, renewal dates, and billing frequencies, it’s easy to lose track of your total spending. SIMKL’s Subscription Tracking feature allows users to monitor their active subscriptions in one place, track costs, and stay informed about upcoming renewal dates.

With Subscription Tracking, you can:

• Track the total monthly and yearly cost of your streaming subscriptions.

• Add and edit details for each subscription, including cost, billing frequency, and renewal dates.

• Customize currency settings to match your preferred denomination.

• View renewal dates to avoid unexpected charges.

• Get a complete overview of active and inactive subscriptions.

How to Use Subscription Tracking on SIMKL

1. Accessing Subscription Tracking

To use this feature:

1. Open the SIMKL Streaming Services Settings.

2. Click on the “My Subscriptions” tab.

3. You’ll see a list of all your subscriptions along with their renewal dates, costs, and billing frequencies.

2. Adding a New Subscription

1. Click the “+ Add New Subscription” button.

2. Enter the following details:

   • Streaming Platform: Enter the name of the subscription service (e.g., Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, Game Pass, etc.).

   • Cost: Input the amount you pay for the service.

   • Currency: Select the preferred currency (USD, EUR, INR, GBP, etc.).

   • Billing Frequency: Choose whether the subscription is monthly, yearly, or another frequency.

   • Status: Mark the subscription as Active or Inactive.

   • Next Renewal Date: Set the upcoming renewal date.

   • Notes: Add details like plan type, shared account users, or any extra information.

3. Click “Save” to finalize the entry.

3. Editing or Deleting a Subscription

• To edit an existing subscription:

  • Click the Edit (✏️) button.

  • Update any details and click Save.

• To delete a subscription:

  • Click the Trash (🗑️) button and confirm.

4. Viewing Total Subscription Costs

At the top of the My Subscriptions tab, you will see:

• Total Monthly Cost – Displays the sum of all active subscriptions billed monthly.

• Total Yearly Cost – Shows the total cost of all active subscriptions billed yearly.

This summary helps users track expenses and avoid unnecessary charges.

5. Changing Currency Settings

If you pay for services in different currencies, SIMKL allows you to convert and display all costs in a single currency:

1. Click the currency dropdown on the left.

2. Choose from multiple currencies, including USD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), INR (₹), AUD (A$), etc.

3. All prices will be displayed in the selected currency.

6. Subscription Tracking Advanced Features

• Track Any Digital Subscription – Not limited to streaming services, you can track Spotify, Apple Music, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, and other digital subscriptions.

• Active & Inactive Subscriptions – If you pause or cancel a service, simply mark it as inactive instead of deleting it.

• Sort and Filter Options – Quickly organize your list by active/inactive status, renewal dates, and price.

• Plan Notes Section – Add plan details, shared users, or important reminders.

• Renewal Alerts (Coming Soon!) – Get notified before your subscription auto-renews.
