# Can't Join SIMKL's Discord Server?

If you are unable to join SIMKL’s Discord server, don’t worry in almost all cases this is caused by **Discord-side restrictions**, not by SIMKL.

This guide will help you identify the exact reason and fix it.

## First, make sure you are using the official SIMKL invite

Always join using the official SIMKL Discord link:

## Most common reasons you cannot join

### 1. You were automatically blocked by Discord

Discord applies **trust & anti-spam systems** that may block accounts if they detect:

* VPN or proxy usage
* New or unverified accounts
* Suspicious IP addresses
* Too many server joins in a short time
* Account activity that looks automated

When this happens, Discord prevents you from joining servers, even if the server never banned you.

### 2. You are using a VPN or Cloudflare-routed IP

Many VPNs, mobile carriers, and ISPs use shared IPs that are flagged by Discord.

This is the **#1 cause** of join failures.

Try:

* Turning off VPN
* Switching to home Wi-Fi
* Switching to mobile data
* Restarting your router

Then click the invite again.

### 3. Your Discord account is too new or unverified

Discord requires certain trust levels for community servers.

Make sure:

* Your email is verified
* You have added a phone number (recommended)
* Your account is at least a few days old

After verification, wait 10–30 minutes and try again.

### 4. You hit Discord’s join-rate limit

If you joined too many servers recently, Discord temporarily blocks new joins.

This limit resets automatically after several hours.

Nothing SIMKL can do here, just wait and try again later.

### 5. Your account is banned from SIMKL’s Discord

This only happens if you violated server community rules previously.

In this case:

* You will be blocked even if you use a new invite
* SIMKL moderators must manually review it

Try this in order:

1. Open Discord in **Incognito / Private window**
2. Turn **off VPN**
3. Switch network (Wi-Fi → Mobile or vice versa)
4. Log in to Discord (Maybe from friends account or alternative account)
