How to Whitelist Simkl Notifications Emails
Never miss an email from Simkl ever again.
Stay updated with the latest episodes and updates from Simkl by ensuring our emails reach your inbox.
Sometimes, email providers may mistakenly filter legitimate emails into spam or junk folders. By whitelisting our email address, notifications@simkl.com, you guarantee that our communications are always delivered to you.

General Instructions
Regardless of your email provider, the following general steps can help ensure you receive our emails:
Add Simkl to Your Contacts or Address Book: This signals to your email provider that you trust emails from us.
Mark Emails as "Not Spam" or "Not Junk": If you find an email from us in your spam or junk folder, marking it as "Not Spam" helps your email provider learn your preferences.
Create a Filter or Rule: Set up a filter to automatically direct emails from notifications@simkl.com to your inbox.

Open an email from Simkl Notifications.
Hover over the sender's name ("Simkl Notifications") at the top of the email.
Click "Add to Contacts" when the contact card appears.
The email address notifications@simkl.com is now saved in your contacts.
Mark as Not Spam
If our emails are in your Spam folder:
Open your Spam folder.
Locate the email from Simkl Notifications.
Select the email.
Click "Not spam" at the top.
Move to Primary Tab (Gmail Tabs)
If our emails are under the Promotions or other tabs:
Drag and drop the email from Simkl Notifications into the Primary tab.
When prompted with "Do this for future messages?", click "Yes".

Add to Safe Senders
Sign in to your Outlook.com account.
Click the gear icon (Settings) in the upper-right corner.
Select "View all Outlook settings".
Navigate to Mail > Junk email.
Under Safe senders and domains, click "Add".
Enter notifications@simkl.com.
Click "Save".
Mark as Not Junk
If our emails are in your Junk Email folder:
Open the Junk Email folder.
Right-click the email from Simkl Notifications.
Select "Mark as not junk".
The email will move to your inbox.

In the contact card that appears, click "Add to contacts".
Fill in any additional details if desired.
Click "Save".
Create a Filter
Click the gear icon (Settings) and select "More Settings".
Go to "Filters".
Click "Add new filters".
Name the filter (e.g., "Simkl").
Under Set rules, choose:
From | contains | notifications@simkl.com
Under Choose a folder to move to, select "Inbox".
Click "Save".

Open the Junk folder.

Create a Whitelist Rule
Click on the "Settings" icon.
Navigate to Mail Rules.
Click "Add Rule".
Set the rule as follows:
When: From is notifications@simkl.com
Then: Always deliver to Inbox
Click "Save".

A contact card will appear. Click "Add to Contacts".

Click on the Settings icon.
Navigate to Mail settings.
Click "Allowlist and Blocklist".
Under Allowlist, click "Add".
Enter notifications@simkl.com.
Click "Save".

If the email is categorized incorrectly:
Open the email.
Tap the three dots (more options) in the top right.
Select "Move to", then choose "Primary".

Tap the sender's name.
Tap the Add Contact icon.
Move Emails to Focused Inbox
Open the email.
Tap the three dots (more options).
Select "Move to Focused Inbox".
Choose "Move this and all future messages".

Open an email from Simkl Notifications.
Tap the sender's name in the email header.
Tap "Create New Contact" or "Add to Existing Contact".
Fill in any details and tap "Done".
Move Emails to Inbox
If our emails are in the Junk folder:
Go to the Junk folder.
Swipe left on the email from Simkl Notifications.
Tap "More", then select "Mark...".
Tap "Mark as Not Junk".
