If you wish to cancel your SIMKL subscription, this guide provides all the necessary steps and information to ensure a smooth cancellation process. Whether you are on PRO, VIP, Student & Teacher Plan, or Supporter Plan, follow the instructions below to cancel your subscription.
1. Can I Cancel My SIMKL Subscription Anytime?
Yes! SIMKL offers flexible cancellation, meaning you can cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing cycle. Once canceled, you will still have access to your premium features until the end of your billing period.
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription?
To cancel your recurring subscription, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Subscription Page on SIMKL
Find your active subscription at https://simkl.com/vip/.
Click on CALNCEL.
Step 2: Cancel the Subscription
Select Cancel Subscription. (or Update Payment info to check before cancelling)
Confirm your cancellation request.
💡 Your premium features will remain active until the end of your billing cycle.
3. What Happens After I Cancel My Subscription?
You retain premium access until your current billing cycle ends.
After your plan expires, your account switches to the Free Plan with limited features.
Your watch history, lists, and preferences are saved—nothing will be deleted.
4. Can I Get a Refund After Cancellation?
Once a payment is processed, all sales are final, and refunds cannot be issued.
Subscriptions are non-refundable unless there is a billing error.

5. How to Cancel a Lifetime VIP Plan?
Lifetime VIP is a one-time payment with permanent benefits, so it cannot be canceled or refunded after purchase.
If you have concerns about your Lifetime VIP plan, reach out to SIMKL support.
6. How to Cancel the Student & Teacher Plan?
Go to VIP Subscription Settings.
Locate Student & Teacher Plan.
Click Cancel.
You will lose the discount benefits, and if you subscribe again, you may need to re-verify eligibility.
7. I Have a Student ID, But It’s Not .edu. Can I Still Get the Student Plan?
Yes! If your university email does not end in .edu, you can still apply for the Student & Teacher Plan by contacting SIMKL Support and requesting approval.
To apply manually:
Go to the Student Plan Page.
Submit your student email for verification.
If your email is not detected, send a request to SIMKL Support with proof of enrollment.
8. I’m on a Pro Plan. If I Upgrade to VIP, Do I Pay the Full Amount or Just the Difference?
Upgrading or Downgrading automatically cancels your current plan and converts remaining days into the new plan.
Your current subscription balance will be converted into extra time on your new plan.
Your next billing date will be adjusted accordingly.
Your initial payment for the new plan will be $0 if your previous plan balance covers the upgrade.
9. How to Cancel the $1/Month Supporter Plan?
Navigate to SIMKL Subscription page.
Select Supporter Plan.
Click Cancel Spporter Subscription.
After canceling, you will no longer receive Supporter perks, but you can re-subscribe anytime.
10. Will My Data Be Lost After Cancellation?
No, SIMKL does not delete your data after cancellation. Your watch history, ratings, and lists remain saved even if you switch back to the Free Plan.
11. Can I Re-Subscribe After Canceling?
Yes! You can re-subscribe at any time by visiting the SIMKL Subscription Page and selecting a plan.
12. How to Subscribe to Monthly Billing on SIMKL?
SIMKL does not offer monthly billing for Pro or VIP plans.
To avoid extra credit card fees, only annual and semi-annual payments are available.
The Supporter Plan ($1/month) and Student Plan ($2.99/month) offer monthly billing options.
13. What Happens If My Payment Fails?
If your payment fails but the amount was debited from your bank or PayPal, follow these steps:
Wait for 24 hours – sometimes payments take time to reflect.
If it doesn’t show up, check your SIMKL Billing Page to see if your payment is registered.
If your subscription is not updated, submit a support ticket with your payment ID or screenshot of the transaction at SIMKL Support.
